Greenwood
Park Kindergarten is a sessional preschool offering
programs for both four-year-old and three-year-old children.
At present there are two groups of each, attending sessions
across five days a week. The two four-year-old groups ("Seals"
and "Jellyfish") attend for a total of 10 3/4 hours
per week each, and the two three-year-old groups ("Dolphins"
and "Penguins") attend for 5 hours per week. In 2012
this will increase to 12 hours for the fours and 5 1/2 hours
for the threes.
Age
Groups are determined by the child's birth date.
Children in the four-year-old groups must be four by April 30
in the year of attendance. Children in the three-year-old groups
must be three by April 30 in the year of attendance, and must
turn three before they can start. Children who have not yet
turned three at the beginning of the year can still be enrolled,
but full fees must be paid to hold the place.
Enrolments
are done through Maroondah's central enrolment service (MIKA).

Enrolments generally close at the end of June the year before
attendance.
Fees
for 2011 are $265 per term for all groups. Fees for
2012 are to be confirmed.
The kinder has an Open
Day each year in May (check the Event Calendar
for the date), and prospective parents are welcome to give us
a call with any queries they may have. You are also welcome
to come and see the program in action and meet the staff - please
ring first to check that it's convenient.
